What's new

A new eeprobe release is currently underway. Until the next release, there will be a beta version with number 3.3.
On this page you can find information on how to install this beta release.

Installation
Linux static release(distribution independant). download Eeprobe depends on software from wibu. We don't distribute that software here. Please visit http://wibu.com/ to download their linux WIBU-KEY Runtime Kit.

once eeprobe is installed, add to ~/.bashrc
  • source /opt/eep/share/eep/scripts/setEnv.sh
run as root:
  1. cd /
  2. tar xvfz /path/to/eeprobe_3.3.120.tar.gz
  3. remove old symlink(if exists): rm /opt/eep
  4. ln -s /opt/eep3.3.120 /opt/eep

GETTING STARTED

After the installation, restart your bash environment (typically a restart of the terminal application is sufficient). As a normal user, type
  eeprobe

This will start the EEProbe Databrowser.

A special manual is available as 'EOG correction' case study (pdf) (2.0MB).
The EEProbe reference manual is installed as on-line help in html format.

The example data as used in chapter 5 of the Getting started manual, are available here:
Examples/P300/m101.cnt (approx. 9.7MB).

The data as used in the EOG correction case study, are available here:
Examples/EOG/EEProbe-EOGcasedata.tgz (approx. 7.7MB).


EEPROBE LICENSE

In the EEProbe Databrowser, under the Help menu, you can start the 'EEProbe License' dialog. This dialog allows you to save the information that we need to provide you with a License.
(Demo licenses for the period of 30 days are provided within certain restricted conditions)

Please save the text to a file 'license.info'.

Alternatively, to license the software on your machine(s), run the command

  licinf > license.info

and e-mail the resulting file 'license.info' to ANT Software at the e-mail address eeprobe@ant-neuro.com (mailto:eeprobe@ant-neuro.com)

You will receive the license file in the reply mail. Copy this file to /opt/eep/license.rc

For licensing the software on your system two license options are available:
